Jenelle Jaleila Williams

"I create figurative and representational sculptures with clay that explore relationships to the natural world. My work aims to capture pathways of naturalism through observation, life, death, mythology and symbolism."

Artist, Jenelle Jaleila Williams enjoys time away from the norms of everyday life. Allowing us to explore our creative potential, appreciate our connection to nature and unfold our perspective. Her intent as an artist is to conceive a new body of work that celebrates “Trees, Art & Remembrance”.
A naturalist at heart. Jenelle celebrates the innate act of being, journaling and creating with the mountains, forests, cemeteries, water gardens and national parks.
Nature brings a childlike joy and abundance to our lives. We thrive on connections with the living, also with the remembrance of folk tales, spirits,  and people who have past. Jenelle Jaleila Williams is currently working on a series of nature inspired sculptures drawings and prints.
A limited series that will expand beyond the figure. Jenelle plans to explore how the figure can be personified through trees, flora, and fauna. She will continue her collection that was conceived in January of 2026 through mediums of journaling, printmaking and sculpture by exploring ways to connect with the natural world.
